Furnishing - Crafting Trade Skill
It is important to remember that crafting items will draw from both your Inventory and any Storage Sheds within the Settlement. If you already have a storage shed, you don't need to clutter up your Inventory. Storage Sheds cannot be shared between Settlements. You cannot use items stored in Windsward for crafting purposes. You can transfer items from one storage shed to another via the storage menu.
You can craft more furniture types, bigger storage chests, and more potent Trophies by leveling up in Furnishing. This will increase your crafting efficiency and increase your yield. It is best to stick with lower-tier items when trying to improve your Crafting Skill quickly. The reason is that crafting items are more expensive as you go up in tiers. Some higher-level recipes can cost up to twice the amount of resources required to craft. Crafting lower-tier items is a good way to level up.
