Best Healers in WoW: Midnight Season 2 Healer Tier List

This guide ranks the seven healers of World of Warcraft for Midnight Season 2 in The Venomous Abyss raid, in Mythic+ and briefly in PvP. We updated it on November 2, 2026, following the October 27 tuning, which gave Restoration Druid its biggest healing buff of the season.

Holy Paladin is the best healer in Mythic+ by a wide margin, while Restoration Druid, Holy Priest and Preservation Evoker share the top of raid healing. Damage dealers and tanks are ranked in our full WoW tier list.

How we rank healers

Mythic+ has good data, because each spec’s 95th-percentile Mythic+ score over the last 14 days shows which healers time the highest keys. Raid healing is harder to read from logs, since healing done depends on what the other healers cover, so there we weigh what the major class guides agree on and how the October 27 changes moved each spec.

Mythic+ healer tier list

About 30 % of healers in keys play Holy Paladin, and it has the highest score in both regular and high keys. Its Season 2 set bonus feeds a strong Holy Light loop, Beacon of Virtue answers the burst damage of this dungeon pool, and it gets mana back while dealing damage. Its blessings also help against the poison and bleed effects in several Season 2 dungeons.

Restoration Shaman is a clear second and one of the easiest healers to learn. Poison Cleansing Totem, Skyfury and Capacitor Totem give the group a lot of utility. Preservation Evoker, Mistweaver Monk, Discipline Priest and Holy Priest sit close together behind it, so pick the one whose style you like. Restoration Druid is last in keys right now, although Blizzard aimed its October 27 buffs at dungeon burst healing, and it should climb soon.

Raid healer tier list

Restoration Druid gets a lot from its October 27 changes: 60 % more healing from Verdancy, 10 % more from Regrowth and a bigger Swiftmend bonus. Blizzard said its raid healing was already in a good place, and it also brings Mark of the Wild to the group. Holy Priest is the simplest strong raid healer, and Preservation Evoker has repeatable burst windows and Rewind for the hardest moments of a fight.

Discipline Priest deals damage while it heals, so it fits raids that plan their cooldowns. Restoration Shaman offers Spirit Link Totem, and Holy Paladin is good at keeping single targets alive. Mistweaver Monk can heal every boss, although the class guides rank it behind the others for raids. Two or three different healers cover more mechanics than a stack of the same spec.

Best healers for PvP

On November 2 Preservation Evoker, Restoration Druid and Mistweaver Monk were the top three healers in both 3v3 arena and Solo Shuffle. The October 27 PvP changes buffed several healers, including Chronowarden Preservation, Holy Paladin, Restoration Shaman and Mistweaver Monk.

Easiest healer to start with

Restoration Shaman is the most comfortable start for Mythic+, because it is easy to learn and still second in keys. For raids, Holy Priest gives you strong healing with a short list of buttons, and it sits in our top raid tier.
