BO6 GobbleGums: Effects, Rarities and Packs
GobbleGums are single-use items in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies. Bring a pack of five into a match, collect gums from a GobbleGum Machine, and activate them when their effects help your run. Some grant an instant power-up, some last for a set time, and others wait for a trigger such as a perk purchase.
You can earn GobbleGums simply by playing Zombies and surviving rounds. The game also awards them through some challenges and reward tracks, and they can appear in Zombies bundles. This guide explains the rarities, a selection of effects, and how to build a pack for solo or co-op play.
What Are GobbleGums in BO6?
GobbleGums are consumables selected in the Zombies loadout. Your pack holds five different types. The first three occupy your initial slots, and you can hold no more than three at once. Interacting with a machine gives a gum from your active pack that you do not already carry, if you have stock; collect it, then activate it when needed. If none is in stock, the machine supplies flavorless Mr. Peeks gum without a special effect.
The gameplay rarities are Rare, Epic, Legendary and Ultra. Whimsical GobbleGums are a separate, mostly cosmetic category. BO6 does not use the older Classic-versus-Mega split described in some past Zombies games: the gums in your BO6 stock are consumed on use.
Effects can be instant, timed or conditional. For example, Cache Back spawns Max Ammo, Stock Option draws ammunition from your reserves for a short time, and Temporal Gift extends the next time-based power-up you collect. Plan the pack around the map, your objective and the stock you have available.

How to Use GobbleGums in BO6
- Choose a pack: Equip five different GobbleGums before starting Zombies. Put the ones you expect to need early in the first three slots.
- Collect from a machine: Interact with a GobbleGum Machine, then pick up the gum it produces. The machine draws from your active pack and available stock.
- Activate at the right time: Instant, timed and conditional gums work differently. Read the effect before using a limited copy.
- Change your plan: You can switch the active pack during a mission from the pause menu. Future machine draws use the new pack; the gums already carried remain in your inventory.
Use team-oriented gums when allies can benefit, and save defensive effects for difficult objectives or exfil. Each gum’s description tells you whether the effect applies to you or the squad.
BO6 GobbleGum Effects and Rarities
The table below is a selection of BO6 GobbleGums. Its level column shows the launch progression reward where one was listed; a dash does not mean the gum cannot be earned. New gums were added after the original list, including Jacked Lanterns in Season 06. For the wider current catalog, check the in-game inventory and the official Call of Duty GobbleGum guide.
Selected GobbleGums
Use the table to compare effects, then check the in-game inventory for GobbleGums added later. Playing Zombies rounds and completing eligible rewards are ways to add to your stock. If you are exploring store help for Zombies, see the active Call of Duty: Round Based Zombies Boost category.
BO6 GobbleGum Pack Ideas
Choose gums for the next objective rather than treating any one pack as universally best. You can change the active pack from the pause menu during a match, so a plan for early setup can give way to a plan for a boss, high rounds or exfil.
Solo Survival
- Perkaholic grants the perks on the map, if you have a copy to spend.
- Shields Up refills armor and strengthens it for a limited time.
- Wall Power prepares your next wall-bought weapon with Pack-a-Punch.
- Cache Back spawns Max Ammo when ammunition is scarce.
- Anywhere But Here! teleports you away from a dangerous position.
Co-op Support
- Phoenix Up revives teammates and preserves their perks.
- Profit Sharing shares Essence among nearby players.
- Kill Joy spawns Insta-Kill for the squad to use.
- Soda Fountain grants an extra random perk with the next perk purchase.
- Exit Strategy starts an exfil vote and reduces spawns during exfil.
Early Weapon Setup
- Wall to Wall Clearance reduces wall-buy costs for a short window.
- Wall Power Pack-a-Punches the next wall-bought weapon.
- Crate Power Pack-a-Punches the next weapon taken from the Mystery Box.
- Who’s Keeping Score? spawns Double Points for the team.
- Immolation Liquidation spawns Fire Sale when the Mystery Box matters.
Near Death Experience needs another player nearby for its revive effect, so it is not a solo self-revive plan. The old speedrun example also named Shopping Free, Round Robbin’ and Raindrops, which are not in the official BO6 GobbleGum catalog. Conclusion
A useful BO6 GobbleGum pack matches your available stock and the job ahead. Check each gum’s rarity, trigger and target before spending a copy. The table above covers selected gums; the in-game inventory and official guide cover later additions.
