The Division 2 is a tactical shooter action role-playing video game where you'll function as a Division Agent located in Washington D.C. Your goal is to save the city from falling by completing missions to keep the peace and battling enemies aiming to topple society. While power leveling and completing the main storyline to gain maximum level 30 and unlock endgame content, you will be fighting various enemy factions: True Sons, Hyenas, and Outcasts. The main goal is to purge them from D.C. and protect the remaining civilians left in town.
On March 3, The Division 2's first major DLC named Warlords of New York was released, focusing on a mission to retake the ruins of Lower Manhattan from a cabal of rogue agents. Warlords of New York opens up a large portion of new endgame content to explore, bringing new avenues to level up your character and acquire more power. Once you reach Level 40 and complete the Warlords of New York campaign, you will gain access to Keener's Watch and the new infinite SHD Level system progression.
What are SHD Levels?
SHD Levels is a system to replace your Gear Score and allow you to continuously improve your Agent's attributes and resource rewards, along with gaining some cosmetic rewards. You will gain SHD progress (shown as your experience bar) by completing various in-game activities and defeating foes. With each SHD level gained, the player gets to choose a stat to invest a point into on one of five stat nodes, gaining small increments of increasing power with respect to that stat. These nodes are Offense, Defense, Skills, Miscellaneous, and Scavenging. Each node except Scavenging contains 4 different stats for the player to invest in. Each stat can have 50 points invested into it before it is maxed out, and each point in Scavenging rewards the player with their choice of either E-credits or any of the crafting materials. Once all stats on every node aside from scavenging are filled, each point from then on will be in scavenging. SHD Level progression is account-wide, meaning that if you reach SHD Level 100 on one Agent, the next Level 40 character you complete the campaign with will have access to 100 points as soon as they activate their watch.
