The Final Shape adds seven new Exotic weapons, each with unique perks and abilities. These weapons are designed to boost your combat strategy and make your battles more exciting.

You’ll also find new Exotic armor pieces in The Final Shape. These include new class items that let you choose two Exotic perks from other gear. This feature gives you amazing customization options.

New Exotic Weapons in The Final Shape

Most new Exotic weapons are unlocked through special quests. These quests become available after you finish the main campaign of the expansion. Each quest takes you on a unique journey, revealing stories and unlocking powerful gear.

Some Exotic weapons come as pre-order bonuses or with the Season Pass. These weapons give you an early boost, letting you experience their power right away.

Tessellation

Type: Energy fusion rifle

How to obtain: Upgrade to the deluxe edition of The Final Shape expansion to get Tessellation.

Exotic perks:

• Undecidable Perk: Tessellation adapts its damage type to your grenade type, grants bonus grenade energy on kills, and adds Strand or Stasis weapons to your Energy slot, ideal for the new Prismatic subclass.
• Irreducible Perk: Hold reload to absorb your grenade into the weapon, then fire a charged grenade causing a big elemental explosion based on the grenade’s element, which can be a game-changer in battles.

New Catalyst: The expansion will also bring a new Catalyst for Tessellation.

Red Death Reformed

Red Death Reformed is a revamped version of the classic Red Death from the original Destiny. It works like the Exotic hand cannon Crimson, combining damage and healing to boost your gameplay.

Type: Solar Pulse Rifle

How to obtain: Unlock at Season Pass Rank 1

Exotic perks:

• Redemption: Heals you and increases reload speed with final blows. Reloading after a kill also heals nearby allies. Great for team play.
• Inverse Relationship: Reduces flinch, boosts handling and movement speed when dealing damage. Deals more damage when your health is low, turning tough situations into chances for a comeback.

If you struggle with hard missions, this pulse rifle can change the game, especially in the Legendary version of The Final Shape campaign.

Still Hunt

Type: Solar Sniper Rifle

How to obtain: To get the Still Hunt, complete the Wild Card Exotic mission. You can find this mission in The Lost City after finishing the campaign. It’s tough, but the reward is worth it. Or you can get Still Hunt more easily.

Exotic perks:

• Cayde’s Retribution (Intrinsic Perk): Collect Orbs of Power or precision shots to charge the Super meter. When full, hold reload to fire three Golden Gun shots. Each hit boosts damage, and it's even stronger with the Celestial Nighthawk helmet, combining power into one big shot.
• Golden Munitions: Activating Golden Gun gives bonus ammo for Still Hunt, so you're always ready for a fight.

It combines power, precision, and unique abilities. By completing the "Wild Card" mission and using its Exotic perks, you'll be ready to face any challenge.

Microcosm

Meet Micrcosm, this Trace Rifle is super unique and brings something new to the game.

Type: Heavy Kinetic Trace Rifle

How to obtain: Complete the Convalescence: Budding Exotic Mission.

Exotic perks:

• Paracausal Beam: Unleashes a devastating torrent of Kinetic light upon your foes. This beam not only deals significant damage but also inflicts bonus damage to shields.
• Paracausal Imbuement: Every kill with Microcosm charges your Super bar, granting you the power to unleash unparalleled destruction. Even when your Super wanes, Microcosm grants increased damage for a short period, ensuring no threat remains standing.

Khvostov 7G-0X

Among these legendary relics is the iconic Khvostov 7G-0X auto rifle, making a grand return to the fray.

Type: Kinetic auto rifle

How to obtain: Explore The Pale Heart to find Lost Encryption Bits, Motes of Light, and Visions of the Traveler, unlocking the secrets of the Khvostov 7G-0X.

Exotic perks:

• The Right Choice: Every seventh bullet ricochets between enemies, dealing additional damage.
• Eyes Up, Guardian: Orbs of Power enhance the ricochet effect, granting bonus bounces and increased damage.
• Shoot-to-Loot: Enables the retrieval of ammo by shooting it, ensuring you stay locked and loaded in the heat of battle.

Ergo Sum

Type: Special multi-element sword

How to obtain: Complete the "Destined Heroes" Exotic mission to claim this legendary weapon.

Exotic perks:

• Transcendent Duelist: Collects less ammo from Special bricks while in use. Each kill increases the Light and Dark Transcendent bar during Prismatic. Ergo Sum deals increased damage while in the Transcendent state. Defeating enemies extends the duration of the Transcendent state.
• Inherited Exotic Perk: Each roll of the Ergo Sum sword inherits an Exotic perk from another weapon.

Euphony

The Euphony, an Exotic Raid weapon from the Salvation’s Edge Raid, is a burst-fire linear fusion rifle. It's a unique Strand-Elemental primary weapon using special ammo and the only primary slot linear fusion rifle in Destiny 2 dealing Strand damage.

Type: Exotic Linear Fusion Rifle

How to obtain: Acquired through The Final Shape raid, Salvation’s Edge

Exotic perks:

• Unwound: Dealing sustained damage spawns Threadlings at the target’s location. Threadlings spawn after landing two full burst-shots. Three Threadlings are generated, each providing three stacks of Spindle.
• Spindle: Causing damage with Threadlings provides a stacking buff that increases Euphony’s weapon damage. You can have up to 25 stacks, each decaying every 10 seconds and providing a 2% damage buff, totaling a 50% increase at max stacks.

Its primary ammo limits its effectiveness in PvP, except for Gambit, but it excels against Majors, Ultras, and bosses.

The Final Shape Exotic Armor

Get ready to wield the incredible power of The Final Shape with the introduction of six new Exotic armor pieces, two for each class, along with three Exotic class items, one tailored for each Guardian class.

The Final Shape Exotic gear can be obtained through completing quests, high-level activities like raids, or as rewards from special events. Each piece enhances your Guardian's abilities and offers strategic combat advantages.

Wishful Ignorance

Type: Titan Gauntlets

How to obtain: Visit Rahool the Cryptarch

Exotic perks:

• Wish-Dragon’s Talons: This perk enhances Frenzied Blade with a fourth charge and boosts your Titan's combat power. Wearing Wishful Ignorance increases damage for Frenzied Blade and Flechette Storm. Pulses from Banner of War will also recharge melee energy based on allies healed.

Wishful Ignorance boosts the combat abilities of Strand Titans with Banner of War and Flechette Storm, providing an extra Frenzied Blade charge and damage boost.

Prismatic Titans gain charge bonuses and increased damage, even without accessing these specific Strand Titan aspects.

Hazardous Propulsion

Type: Titan chest piece

Exotic perks:

• Danger Close: The core of Hazardous Propulsion is its Exotic perk, Danger Close. Precision hits or kills with your weapons can load Kinetic Exodus rockets into the chest piece.

When you use your class ability, these stored rockets are unleashed, homing in on enemy targets with deadly precision. Dealing damage with the Exodus rockets grants you a temporary buff that boosts all rocket launcher damage.

Hazardous Propulsion gives Titans a major edge with powerful Exodus rockets that boost rocket launcher damage, crucial for turning the tide in boss fights.

Gifted Conviction

Exotic perks:

• The Gift of Certainty: The Exotic perk for Gifted Conviction, The Gift of Certainty, triggers small Arc explosives with Ascension or Tempest Strike, dealing significant damage, Jolting nearby targets, and increasing damage resistance.

Gifted Conviction perfectly complements the Hunter's new Ascension Aspect, enabling them to take flight with precision. Moreover, Gifted Conviction enhances the survivability of Arc-specializing Hunters with its potent Jolt effect.

Balance of Power

Type: Hunter legs

Exotic perks:

• Double Down: The Exotic perk Double Down for Balance of Power enhances your Threaded Specter’s durability and longevity, releasing extra Threadings when damaged, making it a game-changer in both PvP and PvE.

The Balance of Power can cloak you from enemy radar detection when near your Threaded Specter. This advantage keeps your opponents guessing and gives you the upper hand in Crucible engagements.

While the Balance of Power excels in PvP, it's also effective in PvE activities.

Speaker’s Sight

Type: Warlock Helmet

How to obtain: Visit Rahool the Cryptarch

Exotic perks:

• The Lost Voice: The Exotic perk transforms healing grenades into Restorative Turrets. Healing allies can also summon an Orb of Power to boost your team's strength.

With Speaker’s Sight, Warlocks can turn healing grenades into a strategic tool, controlling an area by continuously healing their Fireteam.

Mataiodoxia

Type: Warlock chest

How to obtain: Visit Rahool the Cryptarch

Exotic perks:

• Stylostixis: Damaging targets with your Arcane Needle Strand melee causes them to emit a Suspending burst upon death. Hitting a target with multiple Arcane Needles triggers a larger Suspending burst. Killing suspended targets grants melee energy, and Arcane Needles pierce Barrier Champions.

Mataiodoxia enhances Strand Warlocks' capabilities by offering additional options for Suspending targets. Moreover, it fills a gap in Prismatic Warlocks' arsenal by providing a reliable method to Suspend enemies, compensating for the lack of a Suspend grenade.

Exotic Class Items in Destiny 2

In Destiny 2's latest expansion, The Final Shape, Guardians can get new Exotic class items that add lots of customization and power. These special items: Titan mark, Hunter cloak, and Warlock bond are found in the Duel Destiny secret mission in The Pale Heart. It's best to do this mission with a trusted partner in a two-person Fireteam.

These exotic items are called Relativism, Stoicism, and Solipsism. They are more than just cool-looking gear. Each item has two columns of Exotic perks, letting you mix and match abilities in new ways.

The perks are inspired by existing Exotics but with a twist: they are "spirit" versions offering part of the original ability's power. For example, the Spirit of Abeyant for Titans includes only the Suspending blasts from Abeyant Leap, without the Woven Mail effect.
