Dawn of the Infinite: WoW Dungeon, Bosses, and Entrance
Dawn of the Infinite is a Dragonflight-era mega-dungeon centered on the Infinite Dragonflight's attempt to change the timeline and bring about Murozond. It is an existing dungeon, not an upcoming content update. Its original Mythic run contains eight bosses; later updates also divided it into Galakrond's Fall and Murozond's Rise for Heroic and Mythic dungeon play.
Head to the Temporal Conflux in Thaldraszus to reach the entrance. The full mega-dungeon experience and its two-part versions serve different ways to approach the encounters. Check the dungeon journal and the current in-game difficulty menu before forming a group, especially if you are after a specific achievement or appearance.
The old article described the dungeon as a fresh patch release and gave Dragonflight launch item levels as if they were current gearing advice. Those numbers are historical. Midnight has a different endgame season and Mythic+ rotation, so Dawn of the Infinite is best treated here as a legacy dungeon and collection goal, not as a current-season gearing route.
The store card below is a protected site component and still mentions its original Dragonflight item level. Check the linked product page for the currently offered scope before relying on that figure.

Bosses and Dungeon Sections
Galakrond's Fall covers the first half of the timeline story. Murozond's Rise continues toward the final confrontation. The same eight named bosses anchor the full Dawn of the Infinite guide; later dungeon formats split them into two sections.
Galakrond's Fall
- Chronikar: The opening fight against an Infinite Dragonflight commander. Watch the ground effects and keep space to react to her movement mechanics.
- Manifested Timeways: A fight built around shifting timeways. Keep track of the active arena effects and coordinate where your group stands.
- Blight of Galakrond: An encounter with the hunger and corruption linked to Galakrond. Handle each phase's threats before they overwhelm the party.
- Iridikron: The Primal Incarnate closes this section. Coordinate defensive abilities and movement instead of assuming raw damage will bypass the mechanics.
Murozond's Rise
- Tyr, the Infinite Keeper: An altered version of Tyr stands in your path. Watch the encounter's time-based effects and move as a group when necessary.
- Morchie: An alternate Chromie from a changed timeline. Distinguish her from the images and hazards created during the fight.
- Time-Lost Battlefield: A faction-themed battle drawn into the timeways. The opponents differ with your faction, so identify your version in the dungeon journal.
- Chrono-Lord Deios: The final boss tries to secure Murozond's rise. Save strong defensive tools for the phases that demand the most movement and coordination.
The old guide listed these bosses out of order and filled several sections with speculative character motives rather than actionable encounter information. The dungeon journal remains the right source for exact ability names and difficulty-specific mechanics.
How to Prepare for a Run
- Choose the difficulty and section that match your goal. A full Mythic run is a different plan from queueing for a split Heroic wing.
- Read the dungeon journal entries for your chosen difficulty. Do not assume a boss ability works the same way on every version.
- Bring a group that can interrupt, use defensives, and handle movement together. Assign someone to call major mechanics before the pull.
- If you are pursuing a no-death achievement, agree on a slower route and restart conditions before entering. Achievement rules should be checked in the live achievement panel.
Rewards and Achievements
Dawn of the Infinite has Dragonflight-era collectibles and achievements. Examples include the Quantum Courser, transmog appearances, and achievements tied to specific boss mechanics. Availability and requirements can differ by difficulty, so inspect the live dungeon journal, loot table, and achievement criteria for your target before choosing a run.
The old item-level chart, claims about guaranteed manuscript collection after a fixed number of kills, and detailed cantrip percentages were tied to the original patch or lacked a current source. They have been removed. If you want a cosmetic, look up that exact item or achievement rather than treating a legacy dungeon run as an automatic reward.
For hard-mode or no-death objectives, complete the required encounter sequence under the achievement's current conditions. The Infinite Acolyte's Regalia appearances were associated with the dungeon, but the old text mixed them with an unsupported reward guarantee. Check the live achievement description before committing a group to that goal.
Dawn of the Infinite remains a strong story and collection run for players who want to revisit the Infinite Dragonflight arc. It is not part of the current Midnight Season 2 Mythic+ dungeon pool; the current season's official rotation lists other dungeons.

Use the current dungeon journal for boss abilities and the live achievement panel for rewards. The story of Nozdormu, Chromie, Iridikron, and the Infinites remains the reason to revisit this Dragonflight dungeon, while its old launch-season item levels should not guide a Midnight gearing plan.
