Why you need Last Epoch Campaign Run service
In Last Epoch, the campaign is the main story that tells you about the world and unlocks exciting end-game content. While playing, you get to explore the world of Eterra and follow the story through five different timelines, which I'll explain more about later.
It takes around 25 to 30 hours to finish the story, so it's quite a long. Completing the campaign is crucial to unlocking high-level content. Instead of spending your time, our Last Epoch Campaign Run service lets you jump straight into end-game content. We'll tell you the story, so you know everything important.
Last Epoch Campaign Objective
The main task for the player is to stop the spread of the Void and restore all the timelines. To achieve this, we need to collect all the pieces of a crystal created by goddess named Eterra, known as the Epoch. When assembled, this crystal holds the power to control the fate of humanity, but it was shattered into shards to prevent any single entity from possessing such immense power. Although the Epoch is divided into parts, its fragments still carry energy capable of banishing the Void, which seeks to engulf the entire world.
Last Epoch Campaign storyline
As I mentioned, Last Epoch has different timelines. To make things clearer, here's a picture showing the time periods we'll talk about.
Let's start from the very beginning when there was nothing but the Void and two entities. The first entity was called Eterra, and the second was Orobyss, whom we'll have to defeat in the endgame. While the second entity enjoyed the void, Eterra wanted to create light, life, and people. Without informing Orobyss, she crafted a living world and named it in her honor. That's why the world in which the player finds themselves is called Eterra. She populated it with living creatures, humans, and gods. An interesting detail is that the player's health icon resembles Eterra, symbolizing life, while a likeness of Orobyss is found on your mana.
Eterra lived with her creations in the first era, the Ancient Era, when dragons still roamed the land, and her temple floated in the sky, housing her and the people she created. Time passed, Eterra disappeared, all the dragons were killed by the gods, and the temple in the sky fell. We don't know much about the gods, we know of the existence of Heorot, Lagon, Majasa, and Raeha. Each god has their own city, where the heroes come from. Heorot has Heoborea - the origin of the Primalist, Rahyeh has Solarum - the origin of the Sentinel, Majasa has Maj’elka - the origin of the Rogue. Where the temple fell from the sky, the city of Welryn emerged, from which the Mage and Acolyte come. Lagon has Thetima(possibly place for a new class in the future).
We've covered where our classes come from. By the way, if you want to play a specific class but don't want to spend time leveling up, we recommend using the Last Epoch Starter Builds service to get a leveled character ready for endgame content.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 1
Let's start from the beginning, where Rahyeh declares war on other gods and sends his soldiers to sow chaos. Their first target is Heoborea and the Temple of Eterra guarded by the Keepers. As the main character, you, by the twist of fate, find yourself in negotiations between the Heoborea tribes and the Keepers about an alliance against Rahyeh.
t's worth noting that, before patch 1.0, each class had its unique backstory presented in introductory videos. Although no longer considered canon, these backstories add depth to the characters you'll play.
- Sentinel - was in Raeh's Army but couldn't bear watching innocents die and left.
- Rogue - was hired to kill Vessel Maiden Apophis, whom we'll meet later.
- Mage - is searching for their apprentice, thinking they let her down. The apprentice is an Acolyte.
- Primalist - witnessed an attack on their home, Heoborea, and goes to the Temple of Eterra to find answers.
- Acolyte - was exiled from Welryn and, knowing about the war between gods, wants to see it burn.
Things take an unexpected turn in Last Epoch campaign run when Rahyeh attacks the negotiations with his general Orian, who's searching for something. Chaos ensues, and after that, you meet the Keeper Lina, who reveals her sole purpose is to protect the shards of the Epoch, the thing that can alter reality. It's unclear what happened to the Epoch, but it shattered after Eterra confronted with Orobyss. The Keepers, to prevent the Epoch from falling into the wrong hands, kept the shards in different places. One shard is with the Keeper Balthas, another in the Temple of Eterra, and the third in a hidden fortress. Meanwhile, you also encounter Grael, Heoborea's champion.
Lina informs you that Balthas has gone to the hidden fortress, not realizing he's putting the safety of two shards at risk. She asks you to go help him, while Grael ensures the safety of the shard in the Temple of Eterra. Later, you find and assist Balthas, but he gets kidnapped by General Orian. Upon returning Balthas, he reveals his plan to use the power of the two shards and hide them in another time, where Rahyeh can't reach them. However, things don't go as planned, and you get dragged into the future.
At this point, the first act is concluded, during which you can complete 4 main quests and 2 additional ones
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 2
Using the magic of the shards, you end up in the Ruined Era, 1300 years in the future, with an Epoch shard in hand. Meanwhile, Balthas arrived in this Era with his shard before you did. The Last Epoch campaign introduces players with Ruined Era, a post-apocalyptic future where the Void has distorted or consumed animals, humans, and cities. Orobyss, whom we know, directs the Void onto the world. But he fails to destroy the last settlement protected by the Epoch shard that was with Balthas. He came to this timeline much earlier than you, saw the darkness approaching, and realized that the shard stopped it. He used it to create the Last Refuge in the fortress, and when he died, he passed the shard to the Council of Elders so they could protect it and the Last Refuge. The Elders are essentially descendants of the Keepers, the name just changed. However, the protection is starting to weaken as the Void slowly consumes the refuge.
When you arrive at the refuge and reach its heart, the Council's Elder, Gaspar, meets you and gives you idols of the old gods to enhance your power. Learning that you have the second shard gives these people hope that they can survive. Later, the shard is stolen by the Elder Paniona, corrupted by the corruption. Taking the shard from her body, you are transported to the End of Time.
Here, the world has ended, and characters from different timelines are here for various reasons. Here, you imbued yourself to another version of you to gain knowledge you possessed in another version, making yourself stronger. Another version of Elder Gaspar, who has seen many versions of you, helps you with this.
At this point, the second act is concluded, during which you can complete 4 main quests and 6 additional ones.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 3
You return to the Ruined Era, where Gaspar from this time greets you and says that the hope of the Last Refuge is in your hands. You need to gather all the Epoch shards, and it's known that the last shard remains where it was, in the Temple of Eterra. Heading to the temple, during your journey, you encounter a massive giant made of stone and wood, walking in the distance. This is the boss of the Lightless Arbor dungeon, a Spriggan helps you defeat it, allowing you to proceed.
On the way to the Temple of Eterra, you pass through the ruined city of Welryn. There, you help seemingly friendly cultists, and you learn about the existence of an empire that ruled before the Void and after the fall of the gods. In the end, you discover that the only people not affected by the corruption are the inhabitants of the Last Refuge and Orobyss cultists who corrupt those who are still ordinary humans. You realize this too late and fight against the Void-infested cultists.
Later, during Last Epoch Campaign run you learn that all the time before the Ruined Era, other descendants of the Keepers were hiding the shard, so it remained untouched. Entering the temple, you begin searching for the shard but don't find it. Afterward, your two shards transport you to a time when the third shard was here. You defeat the Void-corrupted Emperor and take the shard, creating the Epoch. The game is named Last Epoch because an epoch is a moment in time chosen as the beginning of a particular era, and each moment we travel to, is at the end of its epoch.
At this point, the third act is concluded, during which you can complete 5 main quests and 3 additional ones.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 4
At the End of Time, together with the alternate Gaspar, you decide to destroy the Void before it began spreading. For this, player go back 300 years, where we learn that all the gods in Divine Era were killed and one man gained immortality with their power and called himself the Emperor. He ruled for a thousand years from the Divine Era to the Imperial Era. However, immortality has one drawback: the person decays but doesn't die, turning into a skeleton. In addition, the immortal Emperor made his loyal companions immortal too.
Over time, the Emperor's power began to wane, and he sought help from Orobyss, who released the corruption into the world with his assistance. You go back 300 years to the descendants of the Keepers to stop the Emperor and the corruption. During the journey, the player learns that the Emperor's immortality is not real because it requires a living essence for life extension. This explains why the Emperor turned to the Void, but this can only be learned from an additional quest. Also, on your way, you'll need to kill Kremorus the Lich in his Soulfire Bastion. His dungeon we described in Last Epoch Soulfire Bastion Boost service. Later, to find the secret way in the Emperor's refuge, you'll need to do a lot of actions to save the mage Alric, who is held captive but knows where it is hidden entrance. Finding where he's being held, you infiltrate a ship, free Alric, and together jump off the ship.
At this point, the fourth act is concluded, during which you can complete 3 main quests and 3 additional ones.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 5
You wash ashore near Maj'elka with Alric, and you need to find a teleporter in the city that leads to the Imperial Citadel. The city is occupied by enemies, creating some difficulties. Here, you'll learn about and see a new race for you – the Nagas, snake-like people. You'll also meet Chronomancer Julra, a Sapphire Naga, who has been driven insane by experiments with Eternity Cache inside the Temporal Sanctum. Here, you discover that Julra is from the same era as you and also time-traveled to the Ruined Era, witnessing the destruction caused by the Void. She hurried to inform her brethren, who didn't take her words seriously. In secret, she conducted research to prevent this future, realizing that the only way to avert it is to possess the Epoch.
As part of the story, you'll encounter her while she's still sane. Knowing that you have the Epoch, she built the Temporal Sanctum where you were supposed to end up. However, due to the experiments transporting many elements through time, she forgot why she was pursuing you. So, upon seeing you, she attacks immediately. Her dungeon is a serious challenge, which we described in Last Epoch Temporal Sanctum Boost service. Later, after all challenges, you finally reach the teleporter in the city and move to the Emperor's Citadel.
At this point, the fifth act is concluded, during which you can complete 2 main quests and 2 additional ones.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 6
Using the teleporter, you appear near the Emperor's Citadel. Upon exiting the portal, you are greeted by the Emperor's right hand, Yulia, who is undead. She is friendly towards you and wants to overthrow the Emperor. Although Alric doesn't trust her, you continue together. During Last Epoch campaign run you pass through aqueducts and sewers to get closer to the citadel, but Alric's knowledge about area is limited. Trusting Yulia, you proceed to her hideout. Yulia convinces you that your goals align in overthrowing the Emperor. Then she leads you through the same sewers into the heart of the Citadel.
Here, you encounter the Emperor, still untouched by the Void. However, it turns out to be a trap. Yulia betrays you, and Alric dies. You deal with Yulia and kill her companions, but before the Emperor can finish you off, Julia freezes him in place. She tells you to kill the Emperor and end him with Lance of Heorot. However, you don't have the lance and don't understand what she's talking about. In a moment, you are sent back to the Divine Era.
At this point, the sixth act is concluded, during which you can complete 2 main quests and 1 additional ones.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 7
Returning to the Divine Era, where Rahyeh declared war on other gods, your character witnesses Rahyeh killing Heorot. After this, Rahyeh flies away, but Heorot survives with a fatal wound, sending you in search of Lance of Heorot. Here, you encounter Yulia, but the living version who doesn't know you since you've only met her future self. Lance of Heorot is a weapon capable of killing gods. Once, Heorot's son Morditas tried to overthrow his father and seize his power. Heorot, upon learning this, sought the blessings of other gods and created a lance capable of killing or immobilizing a god. Your journey involves collecting these blessings.
The lance is currently with Heorot's son Morditas, who has been turned to ice, and later placed by his father into a tree. To reach the tree, you first need to enter the temple, which you successfully do using Heorot's horn. Along the way, you encounter Grael from the first act, who assists you. Eventually, you reach Morditas' tomb, guarded by Yrun . Yrun, once Heorot's champion, turned to Morditas' side when he rebelled. After Morditas was turned into ice, Yrun became his jailer inside the tomb.
At this point, the seventh act is concluded, during which you can complete 4 main quests and 2 additional ones.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 8
Returning to Heorot, who is barely holding on and after you receiving his blessing, he eventually passes away. Now, you need the blessings of other gods, or more precisely, their blood. In this act, your target is Lagon. You part ways with Yulia and Grael, agreeing to meet in Tetima. But first, you need to find Lagon's right hand, blessed with his power — Architect Liat.
After locating her and assisting in several tasks, she still refuses to let you speak with Lagon, and none of your arguments, including Rahyeh's intention to kill Lagon, sway her. Additionally, during Last Epoch Campaign Run you learn that Lagon saved young Liat's life and gave her his power to care for everything, now she serving as his nanny. Moreover, you discover that Lagon is an unpredictable and hysterical nature. It becomes clear why Liat didn't want you to communicate with him, she believes he could either grant blessings and let you go or kill you on the spot and proceed to destroy Tetima.
In the end, you reach Tetima, where you meet Yulia and Grael, who suggest trying your luck and talking to Liat on the Isle of Storms. But for that, you need a ship to take you there. Finding a captain, you set sail for the island. Then on island, by finding two moon fragments and placing them on altars, you open the path to Lagon's temple. Wandering through the temple, you finally encounter Liat. Unable to negotiate with her and fearing that your conversation might enrage Lagon, leading to the destruction of Tetima, she attacks you to prevent this. After defeating her, you reach Lagon, where, amusing him for a while, you receive some taunts about your weakness and his blessing.
Afterward, Lagon opens a portal back to Tetima. Yulia and Grael greet you, along with the ship captain Harton. Yulia mourns Liat's death and is disappointed that you couldn't persuade her, while Grael talks about his intention to gather an army against Rahyeh. Meanwhile, you obtain the blessing of Madhassa. You, Yulia, and Harton set sail.
At this point, the eighth act is concluded, during which you can complete 5 main quests and 5 additional ones.
Last Epoch Campaign Run - Chapter 9
Here we come to the current final act, where the player has to traverse a desert to reach the city of Maj'elka. During the journey, Yulia decides to stay behind for her own reasons. Upon reaching the city, you encounter a conflict among the city's residents, providing an opportunity to join two opposing factions. You also learn that Majasa prefers to communicate with the people through subordinates, much like Lagon.
The herald of Majasa in this city is the Vessel Girl, Apophis. Additionally, Apophis serves as a sacrifice for Majasa to strengthen herself. Majasa is in her temple, and to enter, you help stage a revolt to infiltrate the temple. Here, you meet Majasa and Apophis, who, unwilling to be a sacrifice for the goddess, summons the Void and calls upon Orobyss. She uses the power of the Void to corrupt Majasa. The player is forced to defeat Majasa and use her blood as a blessing.
Now, your attention turns to Apophis because your main task is to stop the Void, and she clearly has the necessary information. Moreover, her power threatens all living beings. However, she attempts to escape, simultaneously draining the power of your Epoch and using it to open a massive rift in time, sucking you both in.
At this point, the nineth act is concluded, during which you can complete 4 main quests and 10 additional ones.
