In Overwatch 2, players are assigned ranks ranging from Bronze to Master based on their performance in placement matches. Each rank serves as a distinct tier, and players can move up or down the ranks based on their Skill Rating (SR). Accumulating enough SR will advance you to the next rank, while losing too much SR risks demotion.

Top 500 players are not a traditional rank but rather a title given to the top 500 players in a region, based on role and platform. These players can be found on the Competitive tab leaderboards and may span ranks from Champion down to Grandmaster, and occasionally even Master during rank resets.
And yes, we have an Overwatch 2 Top 500 Boost Service too!
The majority of Overwatch players find themselves in the Silver, Gold, and Platinum tiers. If you don’t reach Diamond or Master immediately, don’t worry - Mmonster is here to help you achieve your desired rank.
Overwatch 2 Rank Rewards
Season 9 introduced significant changes to the Competitive rewards system, notably with the addition of Jade Weapons, which somewhat replace the older Gold Weapons.
Earning Golden Guns
Golden Guns are obtained using Legacy Competitive Points (CP), which are converted from regular CP at the end of each rank year. At the start of Season 9, all existing CP from previous seasons were converted into Legacy CP.
