Control Points: Description

Control Points in The Division 2 are enemy-controlled regions: you enter, clear them out, and take over. These points are marked as green or red flag icons, with green indicating Control Points you occupy, and red meaning the enemy controls them. In the endgame, Control Points become even more dynamic, as the Black Tusk faction will attempt to retake them soon after you reclaim them. This adds a layer of complexity and stress, but also means that every time you reclaim a Control Point, you'll gain access to a fully replenished Supply Room full of gear and other rewards. They are a fantastic source of loot and crafting materials, and if you refill the Control Point's supplies, you will gain a boost of XP that will help you unlock your next Field Proficiency Cache.

Once you've cleared a new Control Point, an icon will appear on your HUD, directing you to a Supply Room. This is where your rewards are, so head over and claim your loot. You'll find a large orange crate that awards gear and firearms, along with a few smaller crates. The smaller crates will refill every 24 hours, so make sure you check back regularly for more loot. Upon reaching World Tier 4 in The Division 2, you can increase the Alert Level of each Control Point, guaranteeing better loot at the end, though the difficulty will be significantly higher. To raise the alert level, complete activities connected to the Control Point by red lines, with the highest Alert Level being 4.
