The Trading Post is a rotating cosmetics shop in World of Warcraft. Use Trader's Tender to pick up mounts, pets, toys, weapons and transmog appearances. The stock and Traveler's Log activities change each month, so check the current selection before spending your Tender.
Where to find the Trading Post
Alliance players can visit T&W (Tawny and Wilder) outside the Mage District in Stormwind. Horde players can visit Zen'shiri beside Grommash Hold in Orgrimmar. Trading Post representatives are also available in Dornogal and the renewed Silvermoon City.
Trading Post goods
The monthly selection spans different types of collectibles. Items can return in later rotations, including cosmetics from past promotions. Browse the vendor's current inventory in game; a list of old items or prices will not tell you what is available this month.
Trader's Tender
Trader's Tender is the account-wide currency used at the Trading Post. The regular monthly sources are the Collector's Cache and activities in the Traveler's Log. Blizzard can also offer extra Tender through special events, so the regular monthly amount is not an absolute cap.
1. Collector's Cache
Players with active game time and an account in good standing can collect 500 Trader's Tender from the Collector's Cache each month. If your game time was inactive at the start of the month, the Tender becomes available when you have active game time again.
2. Traveler's Log
Open the Adventure Guide (Shift-J) and select the Traveler's Log to see the month's activities and your progress. Completing activities can earn up to 500 additional Trader's Tender in a regular month. You do not need to finish every task: choose the quests, battlegrounds, holidays, dungeons or other activities that suit you. Fill the monthly progress bar to claim its separate bonus reward; check the Log for the current reward instead of relying on an old list.
Rotation and saving Tender
Trading Post stock changes monthly. An item you missed may return in a later rotation, but its return is not guaranteed for a particular month. You can freeze one item to keep it available until you purchase or replace it. Unspent Tender carries over, so there is no need to buy something just because the current rotation is ending.
Trading Post achievements
Trading Post Enthusiast rewards players who collect the monthly special reward 12 times with the Burden of Unrelenting Justice transmog sets. The months do not have to be consecutive.
