Medals are a non-premium currency earned in-game. They are mainly used to purchase unlocks in the Warbond menu, which functions similarly to a battle pass. On every mission map, you'll find hidden bunkers, containers, and locked rooms. These Points of Interest can contain 1 to 6 Medals each. The more POIs a mission has, the better the medal output. Use a squad to quickly sweep and loot while completing objectives.

The most efficient way to farm Medals is to:
- Run Eradication missions against Terminids;
- Choose difficulty level 7–9;
- Bring a full squad for speed;
- Clear the mission and grab all nearby POIs.
With this strategy, you can earn 6–8 Medals in under 10 minutes. It’s even faster if you combine this with a Personal Order and complete an Operation chain. For veteran players, Impossible missions with quick evac are also viable, but more risky.
