CoD König - Character Review

König is an Operator from the iconic military game series, Call of Duty. As one of the most profitable game series, Call of Duty is currently owned by Activision Blizzard Inc., which became a subsidiary of Microsoft Gaming on October 13, 2023. Konig's first appearance was in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, with subsequent appearances in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, and Call of Duty: Mobile Warzone.

General Information About Konig

CoD Konig is an Operator for the private military contractor KorTac. KorTac is one of two private military contractors in the game, the other being their rival, SpecGru. At the age of 17, König joined the military with the aspiration of becoming a recon sniper. However, due to his large physical size, he was not allowed to join as a sniper. He has a voice line reflecting this experience: "And they said I couldn't be a sniper...", which activates when König makes a longshot kill with a sniper rifle.

König worked on a mission in Berlin, where he saved Urzik hostages from Al-Qatala. During the mission, König eliminated all twelve terrorists, though he also terrified the hostages in the process. Al-Qatala is an international terrorist organization from Urzikistan. This organization first appeared in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and subsequently in Call of Duty: Warzone, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II, Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. In 2022, König joined KorTac, besides him, there are 34 operators in CoD MW II, 22 of whom are canon (König being one of them). In CoD MW III, there are 23 operators, with 17 of them being canon.

Interesting Tips About CoD Konig

• CoD Konig means "King" in German, but his real name remains unknown, as he is originally from Austria.
• His age is currently undisclosed, but future skins may provide more details, such as the "The Wolf" skin, which reveals that König has AB- blood type.
• The Imperial German Navy had a class of dreadnought battleships with the identical name "König".
• To unlock the König character, players need to perform a Finishing Move. A quick tip for unlocking König is to wait until the airplane flies to the end of the map, land near AFK players, and eliminate them with a finishing move.
• Konig's mask hood is made from a t-shirt.
