Midnight Season 2 PvP – Elite Set and Vicious Saddle
PvP Season 2 opened on August 18, 2026 in the US and on August 19 in Europe. Patch 12.1.5 is a mid-season update, so the season goes on without a reset, and Blizzard has not announced its end yet. The Vicious Saddle comes from Venomous Combatant progress, which fills with rated wins at 1000+ rating in any bracket. You trade the saddle for the Vicious Lightbloom Boar, the seasonal Vicious mount with an Alliance and a Horde armor look.
The Elite appearance set unlocks piece by piece as you reach new ranks. The cloak comes at Combatant I, legs and bracers at Combatant II, gloves and boots at Challenger I, chest and belt at Challenger II, and shoulders and helm at Rival I. You don't need the Elite rank for the set, because that rank has its own tabard and title. A mount you earn with a WoW PvP boost stays in your collection after the season ends.

Honor comes from battlegrounds and other PvP play and buys the starter PvP gear. Conquest comes from rated PvP and buys the stronger pieces, so most players gear up with Honor first and move on to Conquest.

Yes, some. Sharing your account breaks Blizzard's rules, and Blizzard can ban for any bought boost, Self-play included.
