A new World of Warcraft game in the original Azeroth, with a level cap of 60 and the combat feel of Classic. It adds the Skyborne race, about 1,000 new quests, new zones, dungeons and raids, and it runs next to modern WoW and Classic. It launches on November 4, 2026 at 3 PM PST, and our release date page shows the time for your region.

Classic brings back the original game and its expansions close to how they were. Forever keeps the Classic pace and builds on it with the Skyborne race, new race and class combinations, updated talents, 9 new dungeons, new raids, the Legacy System, Camping and optional transmog. It is the Classic Plus many players dreamed of, as a game of its own.

It comes with your World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time, the same one that covers modern WoW and Classic, so there is no extra game to buy. If a friend owns an upgrade pack, their Invite-A-Friend code lets you play free during launch week, November 4 to 11.

No, there is no realm list anymore. You pick a ruleset instead: Normal, PvP or Roleplaying, with Hardcore joining after launch. You can group with anyone of your faction on the same ruleset, and your two-part name is unique in your region.

Yes. On the PvP ruleset the open world is contested ground, and on Normal a fight only starts when both sides agree. Battlegrounds take you up to honor rank 14, and Darkspear Islands is a new battleground for 15 against 15. Our PvP tier list shows the strongest classes right now.

The new playable race of WoW Forever, a people of wind and ancestry whose story starts on Zephras Isle. At character creation you choose whether your Skyborne joins the Horde or the Alliance. You unlock them with the Skyborne Heroic Pack or one of the bigger packs.

You play on a Windows PC or a Mac through the Battle.net app, and gamepads work too. Blizzard has not announced a console version.

No, and there is no level scaling either, so every zone keeps its level and its dangers. You travel on foot, by flight path, by ship and on your ground mount, which you get the moment you learn riding.

None are announced. Forever is built to last as its own game and keeps growing with new raids, dungeons, quests from 1 to 60, PvP updates and Hardcore. The old expansions stay with WoW Classic. Our raids page shows what comes after December 9.

Yes, at the Blizzard Gear Store while stock lasts, one per household. It holds a 13-inch Dwarf and Bear statue, a Zephras Isle mousepad, art prints, collectible pins, a companion journal and the digital Warcraft Forever Collection. New orders ship in February 2027.
