Runes in Diablo 4
Runes go into gear with two sockets as a pair: a Ritual rune generates Offering when you meet its condition, and an Invocation rune spends it on its effect. You can use up to two pairs, and the same rune only once.
The Legacy runes of Season 15 such as Ber, Lo and Tir work in sockets too, and they are also ingredients for the Runewords you craft in the Horadric Cube. Recipes and farming tips are in our Runewords guide.
