Battle for Azeroth introduced raid, achievement, puzzle and Allied Race mounts that collectors can still pursue. This selection covers 20 BFA-era mounts and points to the activity or achievement associated with each one.
VISIONS OF N'ZOTH MOUNTS:
Black Serpent of N'Zoth
The Black Serpent of N'Zoth is a Horrific Visions reward. In Horrific Visions Revisited, the Beyond the Visions achievement awards the Black Serpent of N'Zoth mount; it calls for masked runs in both Stormwind and Orgrimmar plus vision upgrades.
Ny'alotha Allseer
Defeat N'Zoth the Corruptor in Mythic Ny'alotha for a chance at the Ny'alotha Allseer Mount. The guaranteed BFA-era drop rate ended when the next expansion arrived.
Glory of the Ny'alotha Raider
Complete the Glory of the Ny'alotha Raider meta-achievement to earn the Wriggling Parasite. The Glory of the Ny'alotha Raider page covers the related achievement.
RAID AND DUNGEON MOUNTS:
Glacial Tidestorm
Mythic Lady Jaina Proudmoore in Battle of Dazar'alor can drop the Glacial Tidestorm mount. Its former guaranteed drop rate ended after Battle for Azeroth; avoid assuming a fixed chance on any run.
Aerial Unit R-21/X
The Aerial Unit R-21/X comes from King Mechagon in Operation: Mechagon on Hard Mode. This is a dungeon mount, rather than a general Mechagon zone reward.
Wonderwing 2.0
The Wonderwing 2.0 mechanical parrot remains the reward for Battle for Azeroth Pathfinder, Part 2. The flying unlock in 8.2 link refers to the old flying unlock: flying in BFA zones no longer requires Pathfinder.
BFA ACHIEVEMENT MOUNTS:
Glory of the Uldir Raider
Complete the Glory of the Uldir Raider achievement in Uldir to earn the Bloodgorged Crawg.
Glory of the Wartorn Hero
Complete the Glory of the Wartorn Hero dungeon meta-achievement to earn Reins of the Obsidian Krolusk.
Glory of the Eternal Raider
Complete the Glory of the Eternal Raider meta-achievement in the Eternal Palace to earn the Azshari Bloatray.
COLLECTION AND SECRET MOUNTS:
Mechacycle Model W Mount
The Mechacycle Model W is the reward for the Mecha-Done meta-achievement in Mechagon. The get Mechacycle Model W page concerns that achievement reward.
Snapback Scuttler
The Snapback Scuttler mount is the reward for Undersea Usurper, a Nazjatar meta-achievement.
The Hivemind
The Hivemind comes from a multi-player secret puzzle. Its passenger feature is tied to the players who completed the final puzzle together; the get The Hivemind mount is not a general ride for any passenger.
Conqueror's Scythemaw
The Conqueror´s Scythemaw is the reward for Conqueror of Azeroth, a set of War Mode achievements in Battle for Azeroth zones.
Pureheart Courser
The Pureheart Courser is awarded for the 100 Exalted Reputations achievement. It is a collection milestone, not a drop from a BFA dungeon or raid.
Biting Frostshard Core
The Biting Frostshard Core is the reward for No Stable Big Enough, the achievement for 350 usable mounts on one character.
Frenzied Feltalon
The Frenzied Feltalon is the reward for A Horde of Hoofbeats, the achievement for 400 usable mounts on one character.
BFA ALLIED RACES MOUNTS:
Zandalari Direhorn
The Zandalari Direhorn is the Zandalari Troll Allied Race mount. Recruit the Zandalari Trolls to add the mount to your collection.
Mag'har Direwolf
The Mag'har Direwolf is the Mag'har Orc Allied Race mount. Complete the race's recruitment questline to receive it.
Kul Tiran Charger
The Kul Tiran Charger is the Kul Tiran Allied Race mount. Recruit the Kul Tirans to receive it.
Dark Iron Core Hound
The Dark Iron Core Hound is awarded when you recruit the Dark Iron Dwarves. The active Allied Races Heritage Armor Set Unlock Boost page is about their separate Heritage Armor reward.
