WoW Timewalking Schedule: November 2026

Timewalking brings back the dungeons of one older expansion for a week at a time, and the rotation covers ten expansions, from Classic to Dragonflight. After Legion in November, Turbulent Timeways VI is expected to bring a new expansion every week from 2 December 2026 to 27 January 2027 on EU realms. The regular rotation then returns every third week, and the calendar below already runs to July 2027.

The calendar below is for EU realms. Dates use Central European time (CET in winter, CEST in summer), and each week runs from one Wednesday reset to the next, so the last day of every range ends at reset. US dates have their own table under the calendar.

EU Timewalking calendar for 2026 and 2027

Weeks marked expected come from the test server of patch 12.1.7, Echoes of the Worldcore. Blizzard starts Turbulent Timeways on the day the patch goes live and hasn’t named that day yet, so these weeks can still move if the patch arrives later.

Turbulent Timeways VI in patch 12.1.7: dates and rewards

Turbulent Timeways runs Timewalking for several weeks in a row, with a different expansion each week. Blizzard says the sixth series starts when patch 12.1.7, Echoes of the Worldcore, goes live and lasts eight weeks. The patch is still on the test server (PTR) and Blizzard hasn’t named its release date, so the dates here come from the PTR client: 2 December 2026 to 27 January 2027 on EU realms and 1 December to 26 January on US realms. If the patch goes live later, the whole series moves with it.

Blizzard has announced these rewards, and they can still change on the PTR:

  • Each Timewalking dungeon gives Knowledge of the Timeways, a 5% XP buff that stacks. After four dungeons it turns into Mastery of the Timeways, which gives 30% more XP while it lasts.
  • Hold Mastery of the Timeways in any four of the eight weeks and you earn the achievement Master of the Turbulent Timeways VI with the Markeet of the Infinite Skyriding mount, so you can miss up to four weeks.
  • For a limited time, the Timewalking quest from Archmage Aethas Sunreaver in Silvermoon City gives a Heroic-level Cache of Quel’Thalas Treasures, which arrives with 12.1.7. Blizzard hasn’t given its item level yet.
  • Timewalking vendors add new housing decor.

All three Timewalking raids fall inside the series on EU realms: Black Temple from 30 December, Ulduar from 6 January and Firelands from 13 January.

Regular weeks don’t count toward these rewards. When 12.1.7 gets its date, open the event in your in-game calendar and check the expansion before you plan a raid, because a new series replaces the regular rotation.

How to join Timewalking dungeons

  1. Open the calendar from the minimap and check which expansion is active.
  2. Press I, open Dungeon Finder and choose Timewalking in the dungeon type menu.
  3. Pick your role and join the queue. The menu shows which dungeons your character can enter.
  4. Open the Adventure Guide (Shift+J) and accept the weekly event quest before your first run.
  5. Finish the quest and turn it in before the event ends.

Classic Timewalking also runs in Retail, so you don’t need a Classic character. Chromie Time and ordinary legacy dungeons are separate activities. If Timewalking is missing from the menu, check that an event is active. Walking to the old dungeon entrance won’t start a Timewalking run; you need the queue for that.

Timewalking raids: access and rewards

Black Temple, Ulduar and Firelands open only in their expansion’s week, and only for a premade group. The random dungeon queue never puts you in a raid, so build a group in Group Finder or join one. If you would rather skip the group search, our WoW Timewalking raid boost covers all three raids.

Black Temple (The Burning Crusade)

The raid leader talks to Vormu in Shattrath, next to Cupri. The raid drops Timewalking loot and badges. The Warglaives of Azzinoth appearance comes from a separate achievement chain, so check its requirements before you count on it from a kill. We also run this raid as a Black Temple Timewalking boost.

Ulduar (Wrath of the Lich King)

The raid leader talks to Vormu in Dalaran in Northrend, next to Auzin. Accept the event’s raid quest first; its text shows which bosses or dungeons count. You can also book an Ulduar Timewalking boost.

Firelands (Cataclysm)

Talk to Vormu in Stormwind or Orgrimmar to enter. Accept the raid quest before you start: it leads to Ragnaros, and its reward tooltip shows the cache. Our Firelands Timewalking boost runs in Cataclysm weeks.

What to farm during a Timewalking week

  • Timewarped Badges: the active expansion’s vendor sells gear, reputation items, mounts, toys and pets for them. Look at the stock first, then decide what to save for.
  • Weekly quest: accept it before your first run. Its cache changes with the season, and the quest shows the current reward.
  • Reputation: +50% from quests and kills, for that expansion’s factions only.
  • Rare drops: drops such as the Infinite Timereaver are random, and no number of runs guarantees one.

Xydan, the Dragonflight vendor, sells the Liquid Hot Magma Slug and Black-Furred Bakkar for 5,000 badges each, along with cosmetics, a pet and toys. Badges are Warbound, so you can move them from alts in the currency transfer window; check the transfer cost there first.

Timewalking Boost for raids, dungeons and badges

If you’d rather not spend the week in queues, our Timewalking Boost covers Black Temple, Ulduar and Firelands runs, the weekly dungeon cache with season gear, and Timewarped Badges for vendor mounts. During Turbulent Timeways VI all three raids open within three weeks of each other.

Legion: 18 to 25 November. Battle for Azeroth: 2 to 9 December. Shadowlands: 9 to 16 December. Dragonflight: 16 to 23 December. Classic: 23 to 30 December. The Burning Crusade: 30 December 2026 to 6 January 2027. Dates from December 2026 come from the patch 12.1.7 test server and can still move.

Both: CET in winter and CEST in summer. The exact start time is in the in-game calendar. US dates have their own table.

During an active event, press I, open Dungeon Finder and choose Timewalking. Pick your role and join the queue, and accept the weekly event quest before your first run.

Black Temple runs in The Burning Crusade week, Ulduar in the Wrath of the Lich King week and Firelands in the Cataclysm week. You need a premade group for all three. The Blackrock Depths anniversary raid is separate.

No. Pandaria weeks bring back six dungeons only. You spend the badges from them with Mistweaver Xia on the Timeless Isle.

No. You can do the Mage Tower solo challenges in any week.

Turbulent Timeways VI starts with patch 12.1.7 and lasts eight weeks. The PTR client expects it from 2 December 2026 to 27 January 2027 on EU realms and from 1 December to 26 January on US realms, but Blizzard hasn’t named the patch date yet, so the series can still move. The two 2026 series ran from 3 December 2025 to 11 February 2026 and from 1 July to 12 August 2026.

Blizzard has announced the Markeet of the Infinite Skyriding mount for holding Mastery of the Timeways in any four weeks of the series. Mastery itself gives 30% more XP after four Timewalking dungeons, and the weekly quest from Archmage Aethas Sunreaver rewards a Heroic-level Cache of Quel’Thalas Treasures. All of this comes from the patch 12.1.7 PTR and can still change.

Open the calendar from the clock at your minimap. The active Timewalking week shows as an event with the expansion’s name. On EU realms it starts and ends at the Wednesday reset, on US realms at the Tuesday reset.

Collector Ta’steld is in Oribos, in the Ring of Fates outside the Hall of Curiosities. Xydan is in the Bronze Enclave in Valdrakken.

Yes. Timewarped Badges are Warbound, so you can move them in the currency transfer window. Check the cost shown there first.

No. It is a rare random drop, and no number of runs guarantees it.
