The katana is the most legendary sword there is. Since it's been a feature of several Call of Duty games in the past, it was only right that it arrived in Vanguard and Warzone Pacific Caldera. With melee weapons that have been overpowered in Warzone in the past like the Kali Sticks, the Katana is definitely used by many players.
The in-game challenge unlocks the Katana. This challenge requires you to get five kills using a melee weapon within a single match 15 times.
