The True Patriot fits for support-oriented players best because it will not really empower you, but instead it will weaken your opponents. This gear set is intended to shine in PvE group play, because your debuffs will benefit your teammates that are shooting your marked targets. Also, the gear set will heal your allies' armor and provide a boost to their cooldown reduction. True Patriot Gear Set randomly dropped by Dark Tusk elite enemies and bosses once you hit World Tier 5. Good areas to search for them include Black Tusk bounties and any other activities in the open world where the Black Tusk are involved in.

Gear set bonuses

  • Set Bonus (2/6): +30.0% Ammo Capacity.
  • Set Bonus (3/6): +30.0% Magazine Size.
  • Set Bonus (4/6): Red, White and Blue. Every 2s, enemies you shoot receive a stacking debuff od Red, White and Blue.
    1. Red: Amplifies the enemy's damage taken by 8%.
    2. White: Shooting the enemy repairs you and your allies' armor by 2/3% once every second.
    3. Blue: Decreases the enemy's damage dealt by 8%.
    4. Full Flag: Enemies that die while under the effect of all 3 debuffs create a 5m explosion, dealing damage equal to their total health and armor. (Explosion damage reduced on Named enemy deaths).
  • Body Armor Talent: Waving the Flag. Increases Red, White and Blue rotation speed to 1.5s.
  • Backpack Talent: Patriotic Boost. Increases Red, White and Blue debuff strength: Red: 8% to 12%, White: 5% to 8%, Blue: 8% to 12%
