About Nerub'ar Palace Normal Raid

With the release of The War Within expansion, players will have the opportunity to participate in the new Nerub'ar Palace raid . In this raid, players will face Queen Ansurek and her loyal allies. In total, you will need to defeat eight bosses, including the queen. The palace is located within the kingdom of Azj-Kahet and can be a challenging experience for those attempting to complete it. Due to the need for strong teamwork, finding a good team can be difficult. We understand how challenging it can be to tackle raids with random players, which is why we’ve created the Nerub'ar Palace Normal Boost service to make your raid experience significantly easier. We’ve also gathered all available information about the raid - location, bosses, rewards, and achievements - so you can know what to expect during the raid.

Nerub'ar Palace - Raid Map

Before starting the raid, you need to find the entrance. Below, you can see the map where we’ve indicated the exact location of the raid. The raid's location on the map is marked with a red dot.

Nerub'ar Palace Bosses

To complete the Nerub'ar Palace Normal Raid and its other difficulties, you will need to overcome terrifying enemies. Below is a full list of bosses you must defeat:

  • Ulgrax the Devourer - Consumed by insatiable hunger, Ulgrax has become the relentless guardian of Queen Ansurek's court. This is a two-phase boss encounter.
  • The Bloodbound Horror - In the dark pits beneath Nerub'ar Palace, the blood of the Old Gods congeals into foul, black pools. From this vile ooze rises a terrifying entity determined to destroy everything in its path. This is the second boss, featuring a single-phase encounter.
  • Sikran, Captain of the Sureki - Of noble birth, Sikran has proven himself a skilled duelist. Now, Ansurek has declared him Captain of the Sureki, and her defender will kill anyone who dares challenge his mistress. This is the third boss, featuring a single-phase encounter.
  • Rasha'nan - Deformed by the queen's horrific experiments, Rasha'nan no longer remembers who she was, driven only by insatiable rage. This is the fourth boss, featuring a single-phase encounter.
  • Broodtwister Ovi'nax - Deep within the Nerub'ar Palace, Broodtwister Ovi'nax, a corpulent horror, conducts abominable experiments with the black blood found in Azj-Kahet, regurgitating inky sludge onto hatchlings to observe its gruesome effects. Heroes must defeat him to end these horrors. This is the fifth boss, featuring a single-phase encounter.
  • Nexus-Princess Ky'veza - Though newly arrived at the palace, the princess has already established herself as a cruel and ruthless aristocrat, loyal to the queen. This is the sixth boss, featuring a single-phase encounter.
  • The Silken Court: Anub'arash and Skeinspinner Takazj - Although Anub'arash and Skeinspinner Takazj are loyal counselors to the queen, their hatred for each other surpasses their loyalty to the throne. This is a three-phase, seventh boss encounter.
  • Queen Ansurek - Driven by paranoia, Queen Ansurek trusts no one and will stop at nothing to destroy the palace invaders. This is the final boss, featuring a three-phase encounter.

By defeating all these enemies, you have a chance to earn valuable rewards and complete the "Nerub'ar Palace" achievement, which requires you to "Defeat all bosses on any difficulty." Utilizing the Nerub'ar Palace Normal Boost service is an excellent opportunity to secure not only valuable rewards but also this achievement.

Does the Great Vault System Work with Nerub'ar Palace Normal Raid Runs?

Yes, the Great Vault system continues to function in The War Within expansion. Killing bosses on any difficulty will count towards completing the Great Vault Raid Weekly Objectives. Defeating 2, 4, and 6 bosses will add 1, 2, and 3 pieces of loot to your Great Vault, respectively. This ensures that you will receive gear from the raid, even if it doesn’t drop directly from a boss. And during the Nerub'ar Normal Raid Boost, you are guaranteed to receive a reward.
