WoW Forever Rogue Talent Path

Your way from level 10 to 60: pick your goal and your spec, and below you see right away which talent to take at every level, which stats to look for and what to press.

All about the Rogue

2What do you want to do with your Rogue?

3How do you like to fight?

3What is your job in the group?

3How do you want to fight other players?

You build with Sinister Strike and finish with Eviscerate while your weapon swings do a lot of the work. From 30 you take on several mobs at once.

Works with any weapon, and Blade Flurry and Adrenaline Rush make you strong against groups of mobs.

You have no heals, so you eat or bandage between fights.

Crits and poisons. You level with Sinister Strike at first, and at 30 you switch to two daggers for Mutilate.

Big bursts with Cold Blood and Seal Fate, and stronger poisons from 40 with Venom.

Weaker than Combat against groups, and Mutilate needs a dagger in each hand.

You sneak up in Stealth, open with a huge Ambush and finish mobs before they hit back much.

Safe questing in Stealth, big openers and plenty of ways to escape.

Slow between openers, and Backstab only works from behind the mob.

Subtlety levels slowly until Hemorrhage at 30. Take Combat if you just want to level fast.

Steady melee damage behind the boss with Slice and Dice, Blade Flurry for packs and Kick for casters.

Simple to play, strong on packs with Blade Flurry and on bosses with Adrenaline Rush.

Pulling threat is dangerous, you have no heals and only Feint, Evasion and Vanish to shake a mob.

Two daggers, poisons and big crits. You keep Slice and Dice and Venom up and Mutilate the boss from behind.

High damage on long boss fights with poisons and Seal Fate.

Needs two good daggers, and you are weaker on packs without Blade Flurry.

Backstab from behind, Ambush without Stealth and Rupture on the boss. Sap and Blind keep extra mobs out of the fight.

Great crowd control, and mobs facing the tank let you Backstab all the time.

Weaker on packs, you have no Blade Flurry.

You pick your fights from Stealth, open with stuns and burst, and vanish when things turn against you.

The best openers and the most escapes, with Premeditation and Preparation.

You depend on your opener, a bad start is hard to recover from.

Stun, burst with Cold Blood and Mutilate, and finish with Eviscerate before help arrives.

Huge burst with Cold Blood and Seal Fate, and Improved Kidney Shot makes your stun hurt more.

Your burst has long cooldowns, if it fails you have little left.

Steady pressure on your target with Blade Flurry and Adrenaline Rush, Kick to stop heals and Riposte to disarm.

Strong steady damage, and Riposte disarms melee players.

Fewer openers and escapes than Subtlety.

Combat is the easy choice: you hit hard with any weapon and fight groups with Blade Flurry at 30.

Combat is the easiest pick for groups because it is simple to play and strong on packs.

Subtlety is the usual pick because it has the strongest openers and the most ways to escape.
