When do raids open in WoW Forever?
On December 9, 2026, five weeks after launch. There is no raid at the November 4 launch yet.
Which raids come first in WoW Forever?
Three at once: the Barrow Deeps for 10 players, Hyjal Summit for 20 players and Onyxia's Lair for 40 players.
How many players do the WoW Forever raids need?
The Barrow Deeps is for 10 players, Hyjal Summit for 20 and Onyxia's Lair for 40. All three are level 60.
Is Onyxia's Lair in WoW Forever?
Yes. Onyxia's Lair opens on December 9, 2026 as the only Classic raid of the first tier, together with the two new raids.
What level do I need for raids?
Level 60. Gear up in the level 60 dungeons first, like Blackrock Depths, Upper Blackrock Spire or Stratholme.
Are Molten Core and Blackwing Lair coming back?
Blizzard has not announced them for Forever yet. The roadmap for summer 2027 lists a revamped iconic raid without a name so far.
What comes after December 9?
In spring 2027 two new raids for 10 and 20 players, plus a legendary questline, two dungeons and a new area. In summer 2027 a revamped iconic raid and one more new raid.
Do raids give Legacy Points?
Yes. The Raids category is worth 3 points: defeat Onyxia, all 13 bosses of Hyjal Summit and all 8 bosses of the Barrow Deeps, 1 point each.
What loot drops in the new raids?
Hyjal Summit and the Barrow Deeps bring new tier sets for every class and a shared legendary reward. Blizzard has not shown names or stats yet.
Do I need an attunement for the raids?
Blizzard has not announced an attunement for any of the three raids. In Classic, Onyxia's Lair needed the Drakefire Amulet.
