Overview
Inside Alcaz Prison
The Defias Brotherhood uses the prison to hold captives for ransom. Its fortifications make this more than a hideout, and a rumor puts King Varian Wrynn among the prisoners. That possible royal captive gives the place much higher stakes than an ordinary bandit stronghold would have.
The captors also face naga forces, leaving infiltrators caught between two hostile powers. Your group enters a conflict already underway rather than a prison controlled by one unchallenged enemy. That struggle shapes the setting, with the Defias trying to maintain their ransom operation while fighting another threat.
Level 48–53 is the range the dungeon is tuned for, not a minimum entry level. Blizzard announced this range for Forever.
