- Gold Veins spawn in the same areas. Smelt Iron and Steel for extra Mining points.
What it is used for: Iron Bar and Steel Bar for Blacksmithing and Engineering, the Rock Garden camp object and Transmute: Iron to Gold.

Where is the best place to farm Iron Ore?
Arathi Highlands and Desolace have the densest Iron. The new Riverglades has Iron Deposits too and fewer miners at launch.
