WoW Forever Rare Spawns by Zone and Level

WoW Forever has 385 rare mobs so far: 294 rares and 91 rare elites in 39 zones and on Zephras Isle. Of these, 23 are new in Forever, 14 of them in the starting zones at level 8–12, and Hunters can tame 79. The Barrens has the most with 32.

All six classic starting zones have new rares of level 8–12, 14 in all, so you meet them before you leave your first zone. Zephras Isle, the Skyborne start, has 8 of its own. Hunters can tame 8 of the new ones.

What do rares drop in WoW Forever?

So far we know what two rares drop: pieces of Blessing of Kalimdor, a set new in Forever. Takk the Leaper drops Raptor Hide Cloak and Swiftmane Signet of the Zhevra. With 2 pieces: Movement speed increased by 5% in The Barrens and Stonetalon Mountains. Where Mark of the Pack Leader drops is still open. We add the notable drops of the other rares after launch.

How long do rares take to respawn in WoW Forever?

Nobody has published respawn times for Forever yet, so we give none. In Classic many rares share their spots with normal mobs and spawn in place of one now and then. So check every spot on the map and clear the camp there.

Can you solo rare elites in WoW Forever?

Rare elites have the health and damage of elite mobs, as in Classic. At their own level most players need a group, a few levels above them many classes solo them. 91 of the 385 rares are rare elites.

Is there an addon that finds rares in WoW Forever?
