WoW Forever Reputations: Every Faction and Its Rewards

WoW Forever keeps the Classic reputations and adds 14 new factions, from the Nightclaw Druids on Zephras Isle to the Brotherhood of the Horse in the Riverglades and the Guardians of Hyjal. Four goblin towns and the Desolace centaurs now have quartermasters too. Here is every faction with its zone, quartermaster, rewards per rank and fastest way up.

Quests pay in full at any levelBeta

In the beta a quest gives its full reputation even when it has gone grey: The Balance of Nature paid 100 at level 3 and at level 30. In Classic grey quests paid less. Blizzard has not said whether this stays.

Diplomat: up to 10% moreBeta data

Diplomat is a Legacy perk in the Resourcefulness tree. Each of its 5 ranks adds 2% reputation, and the tree needs 5 points before you can take it. Plan it in the Legacy Calculator.

No Diplomacy for HumansBeta data

The Human racial Diplomacy, 10% more reputation in Classic, is not in the Forever client. Humans get four other racials, none of them for reputation: the Human racials.

Where you startBeta data

Most factions start you at Neutral. The Skyborne start Friendly with the order of their side, High Order or Windshapers. Alliance Skyborne also start Friendly with the Kirin Tor, Horde Skyborne start the Earthen Ring at Neutral with 500 points. The other faction starts Hated with all four.

Exalted for the Legacy ChallengesConfirmed

Four Legacy Challenges ask for Exalted with a battleground faction, one each for Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin, Warsong Gulch and Darkspear Islands, for 1 Legacy Point each: the PvP challenges.

New factions in Forever

The 14 factions the Forever client adds, by where you meet them. The beta stops at level 30, so the Riverglades, Mount Hyjal and the level 60 factions show what the client holds, with a date for what follows.

Fastest ways up

Do a faction's quests first. When they run out, these turn-ins are what is left to grind. Of the new rewards outside PvP, only the tabards, the Nightclaw Mantle and the top Watcher's Signets need Exalted, so check the rank you need before you grind past it. Turn-ins add up slowly, and Exalted can take many evenings. If you are short on time, you can hire a WoW Forever booster by the hour to grind the reputation on your character.

Questions about reputations

How many new reputations are in WoW Forever?

Fourteen. The Nightclaw Druids, the High Order and the Windshapers on Zephras Isle, the Kirin Tor and the Earthen Ring, the Brotherhood of the Horse, the Bolder'ok Clan and Powderfuse in the Riverglades, the Guardians of Hyjal, Barkskin Burrow and the Cenarion Scouts, The Watchers, and the two Darkspear Islands factions. Ratchet, Booty Bay, Gadgetzan, Everlook and the Desolace centaurs got new quartermasters on top.

What are the best reputation rewards in WoW Forever?

For power, the Rousing Seed Pod of the Guardians of Hyjal at Revered and the level 60 Watcher's Signets. For looks, the five cosmetic hats of the goblin towns and Powderfuse at Revered and the Nightclaw Mantle at Exalted. For collectors, the Shadowgale Squirrel, the Minimule and the Pack Kodo for Merchant's Favor. All of it comes from the beta client and can change by launch.

Where is the Kirin Tor quartermaster in WoW Forever?

Archmage Alvareaux stands in Dalaran in the Alterac Mountains at 14.0, 63.2. He sells eight Azure recipes for skill 175 at Friendly and the Kirin Tor Tabard at Exalted. Elizabeth Ross at 15.8, 69.0 sells the tabard too. Only the Alliance can earn Kirin Tor reputation.

How do I get Ratchet and Booty Bay reputation?

Quest in the Barrens for Ratchet and in Stranglethorn Vale for Booty Bay, and kill the pirates there: Southsea pirates for Ratchet, Bloodsail pirates for Booty Bay. The new quartermasters, Winklespark in Ratchet at 62.4, 37.6 and Gezzy Gunkgear in Booty Bay at 28.2, 74.8, sell level 20 and level 30 gear at Friendly and Honored and a cosmetic hat at Revered.

Where is the Darkspear Islands quartermaster?

Both stand in the Barrens. Creeg Bothunk sells for the Darkspear Raiders of the Horde at 65.0, 34.4, Bryanna Embreeze for the Theramore Expeditionary Force of the Alliance at 63.4, 58.6. Their rewards are on our Darkspear Islands page.

Do low-level quests still give full reputation in WoW Forever?

In the beta, yes. Players saw The Balance of Nature give 100 reputation at level 3 and at level 30, where Classic cut the gain for grey quests. Blizzard has not said whether it stays that way at launch.

Can the Horde earn Kirin Tor reputation?

No. On October 16 Blizzard fixed a bug that let Horde players gain Kirin Tor reputation. The Earthen Ring in Mulgore sells the Horde the Cloudy recipes that match the Azure ones of the Kirin Tor.

How do I farm Nightclaw Druids reputation?

Do their quests at levels 10 to 13 in the Shadowgale Forest first, they get you to Friendly. Then turn in Al'Aketh Cultist's Ears: More Al'Aketh Ears takes 5 ears for 200 reputation. Players report it paid 1,000 until about October 16 and that you can repeat it up to Exalted.

Short on time for the reputation grind?

Every guide here shows how to do it yourself. If your evenings are short, our boosters take the grind off your hands. Options and current prices are on each service page.
