What is the fastest way to level Blacksmithing in WoW Forever?

Our route takes 22 steps and about 388 crafts to 300. It uses only trainer and vendor recipes and switches as soon as a recipe turns yellow and its chance drops too far.

How much does Blacksmithing 1 to 300 cost at vendors?

The vendor goods on our route add up to about 11g 31s. Herbs, ore, cloth and leather come on top, and their auction house prices are only known at launch.

When do I train the next rank of Blacksmithing?

Journeyman at 50, Expert at 125, Artisan at 200. Trainers charge gold for each rank, and Classic also asked for character level 10, 20 and 35. Blizzard has not confirmed whether Forever keeps those levels.

What is new in Blacksmithing in WoW Forever?

The beta data has 203 new Blacksmithing recipes. Blizzard talks about more than 600 new recipes across all professions. On top come Camping objects from skill 20 and a Legacy point at 150, 225 and 300.

Why is my count not exact?

Yellow and green recipes give a point only by chance. We use the average and round up. Enter your real skill after each step and the rest lines up again.
