WoW Forever Fury Warrior Guide

Fury is the dual-wield Warrior for dungeons and raids. At level 60 you put 37 points in Fury and 14 in Arms, press Bloodthirst on cooldown with Whirlwind in between and stack hit, Strength and crit. Level 60 is not tested on live servers yet, so every pick here is our call from the beta client data.

Fury Warrior in WoW Forever: who it is for and what changed

You need a tank in front of you. Death Wish raises the damage you take by 5% and every miss costs Rage, so Fury plays best when a tank holds the boss and you can stay behind it and keep swinging.

Alone it runs dry around level 30, so most players level as Arms and switch to Fury for dungeons. In PvP Arms is the better pick, because Fury brings no healing cut.

Beta dataEditorial

  • Rage comes from your weapon speed instead of the damage you deal, and since October 1 a critical hit with a basic attack gives 100% more Rage. Crit on your gear is Rage too.Confirmed
  • Since the October 1 rework Whirlwind always hits with both weapons, so a good off-hand pays off twice.Confirmed
  • Flurry now needs Death Wish instead of Enrage.ConfirmedBeta data
  • A queued Heroic Strike no longer raises your off-hand hit chance.Beta data
  • Battle Shout reaches your whole raid since October 16, not just your party.Confirmed

  3. Bloodthirst
  4. Whirlwind

Then, top to bottom

  1. 1

Bloodrage on cooldown. You start in Berserker Stance with an empty bar.

  2. 2

Death Wish at the start: 20% more physical damage for 30 seconds.

  3. 3

Execute phase: Recklessness. Every hit crits for 15 seconds, once per 30 minutes.

  4. 4

Under 20% you only press Execute. It turns all your Rage into damage.

  5. 5

Bloodthirst on cooldown: 45% of your Attack Power in one hit.

  6. 6

Whirlwind between two Bloodthirsts, when it does not delay the next one.

  7. 7

Heroic Strike only with Rage to spare. Queued at low Rage it starves Bloodthirst.

  • On packs, let the tank hit first, then keep Whirlwind on cooldown and use Cleave in place of Heroic Strike.Editorial
  • Save Death Wish and Recklessness for bosses, and ease off when you pull threat from the tank.Editorial
  • Pummel works from Berserker Stance, so the caster kicks in dungeons are yours.Editorial

Fury Warrior questions

What is the best Fury Warrior build in WoW Forever?

37 points in Fury and 14 in Arms, with Furious Precision, Dual Wield Specialization, Raging Blows, Flurry and Bloodthirst at its core. It is the ready dungeon build of our Talent Calculator, and the Talent Path shows you the level for every point.

Is Fury or Arms better in WoW Forever?

Fury for dungeons and raids: our tier lists have it at tier A for dungeon damage and tier S for raid damage at level 60. Arms levels faster on its own and is the stronger PvP pick at tier C, while Fury sits at D.

What is the Fury Warrior rotation in WoW Forever?

Open with Bloodrage, Death Wish, Bloodthirst and Whirlwind. Then press Bloodthirst every time it is ready, fit Whirlwind between two of them and use Heroic Strike only with Rage to spare. Below 20% you only press Execute and pop Recklessness.

What is the hit cap for a Fury Warrior in WoW Forever?

Against raid bosses the character sheet of the beta client says 8% for melee attacks and 27% when you dual wield, against targets of your level 5% and 24%. Furious Precision adds 10% hit to your off-hand attacks. Blizzard has not published a cap of its own.

What stats should a Fury Warrior stack?

Hit Chance, Strength, Crit Chance, Agility and Stamina, in that order. Two weapons miss a lot, so hit is your most important stat in groups. You can skip Intellect, Spirit, Spell Power, Bonus Healing and Mana every 5 sec.

What is the best Fury Warrior gear before the raids?

Heartseeker (Blacksmithing 300) in the main hand and Mirah's Song (quest Kirtonos the Herald, Scholomance) in the off hand, plus Lightforge Spaulders (The Beast, Upper Blackrock Spire) and Cape of the Black Baron (Baron Rivendare, Stratholme: Service Gate). The raids open on December 9, until then this is the gear to farm.

Can you level as Fury in WoW Forever?

Up to about level 30 it works. After that most players switch to Arms, which levels faster on its own, and come back to Fury for dungeons.

What changed for Fury in WoW Forever?

4 of the 17 Fury talents are new: Lingering Rage, Furious Precision, Raging Blows and Gore Drinker. 12 more changed. Whirlwind always hits with both weapons since October 1, and a critical hit with a basic attack gives 100% more Rage.
