Wool Cloth farming in WoW Forever
Wool Cloth drops from humanoids of about level 15 to 30. It goes into bandages, Woolen Bolts and a lot of Engineering, and in Classic it sold well through the whole first month.

Farming tips
- Wool comes in fast from dungeon trash while you level: Shadowfang Keep, the Stockade and Blackfathom Deeps.
What it is used for: Bolt of Woolen Cloth, Wool Bandages and Engineering such as the Explosive Sheep. Tailors turn it into bolts on the way up. If you would rather skip that stretch, you can book WoW Forever Tailoring training with a booster instead.

The Stockade and Shadowfang Keep. The Stockade has the densest humanoid packs, Shadowfang Keep the most trash in one run.
What level do mobs drop Wool Cloth?
Humanoids from about level 15 to 30. Below that they drop Linen, above it Silk.
Checked Sep 28, 2026. Nodes, spawn points and drop rates follow the WoW Forever database, drop rates and farm spots come from Classic until Forever has its own numbers.
