Overview
Inside Maraudon
The Wicked Grotto, Foulspore Cavern, and Earth Song Falls combine centaur burial grounds with a temple devoted to elemental earth. The outer tunnels are corrupted, but the interior opens into a lush sanctuary. That contrast gives the run its character, with diseased growth and hostile creatures giving way to water, crystals, and greenery.
The centaur revere this place as their birthplace, where Zaetar and Princess Theradras became the parents of their first khans. Those offspring killed Zaetar, and Theradras sealed his body within her sanctuary. His lingering life energies preserved the greenery around his grave while corruption spread through the rest of the complex.
Getting there
Head to the Valley of Spears in Desolace, on Kalimdor. In Classic, the entrance tunnel reaches Zaetar's Choice, where north leads toward the Wicked Grotto portal, south toward Foulspore Cavern, and east through Earth Song Gate toward Earth Song Falls.
Show on the mapLevel 46–55 is the range the dungeon is tuned for, not a minimum entry level. This is the Forever level range as it stands today. It can still shift before launch.

Noxxion is a corrupted water elemental created by Lord Vyletongue. Toxic Volley deals Nature damage.
Abilities
- Toxic Volley · Inflicts Nature damage to an enemy.
Tactics
- In Classic, Noxxion splits into spawns, so AoE them down and return to the boss when he reappears.
- Give the tank time to establish threat on the spawns before starting heavy area damage.
Tank
Favor a healthy damage buffer rather than relying on plate armor against Nature attacks.
Healer
Use the split phase to recover the group's health whenever add pressure allows.
Damage
Nature attacks and poisons can still damage Noxxion.

Ace of Plagues · Other · 4.1%
Vorpal Dagger · One-Hand · 3.3%

Razorlash is a lasher whose attacks deal Physical damage. Puncture adds a bleed that ticks every 2 seconds for 10 seconds.
Abilities
Tactics
- Keep nearby allies away from the tank, since Cleave can strike up to three targets.
- Avoid starting the fight with the tank already low on health, as the bleed adds sustained pressure.
Tank
Use Physical damage mitigation to smooth out the melee hits.
Healer
Keep healing through Puncture rather than treating each melee hit as the end of the damage.

Lord Vyletongue leads the Putridus satyrs and mixes bow attacks with Blink and a nearby stun. His movement makes this more than a stationary melee fight.
Abilities
- Smoke Bomb · Casts a smoke bomb, stunning nearby enemies for 4 sec.
- Shoot · Shoots at an enemy, inflicting Physical damage.
- Multi-Shot · Fires a volley of missiles at an enemy and its nearby allies, striking up to 5 targets for normal damage plus 1747.
- Blink · Teleports the caster 20 yd. forward unless something is in the way. Also frees the caster from any bonds.
Tactics
- In Classic, four stealthed Shadowstalkers guard him, and the two at the doorway can be pulled separately.
- Close the gap quickly rather than leaving him free to shoot.
- Spread out so Multi-Shot does not catch several nearby allies.
Tank
Be ready to reposition when Blink moves him forward and breaks movement restraints.
Healer
Stay outside the nearby melee cluster so Smoke Bomb's 4-second stun does not stop your healing.
Damage
Do not chase a Blink into uncleared guards.

Celebras is a Keeper of the Grove overcome by Maraudon's corruption. He combines Nature spells with summoned Forces of Nature.
Abilities
- Entangling Roots · Entangles an enemy in roots, inflicting Nature damage every 3 sec. and immobilizing it for up to 10 sec.
- Twisted Tranquility · Deals nature damage to enemies in an area over 10 sec, slowing their movement by 70% and increasing the time between their attacks by 300%.
- Wrath · Hurls a bolt of lightning at an enemy, inflicting Nature damage.
- Corrupt Forces of Nature · Summons 3 Forces of Nature to aid the caster in battle for 1 min.
Tactics
- Interrupt his casts to reduce the pressure from his spells.
- Move out of Twisted Tranquility, which damages enemies in its area and heavily slows movement and attacks.
- Focus Celebras first, then finish the remaining adds with AoE.
Tank
Establish area threat on the initial adds and collect each new set of three summons before they reach the healer.
Healer
Watch players caught by Entangling Roots, since they take damage while unable to move.
Damage
Coordinate kicks rather than spending every interrupt on the same cast.

- Knock Away · Inflicts normal damage plus 30 to an enemy and knocks it back.
- Summon Player
- Summon Shardlings · Summons Theradrim Shardlings every 2 seconds and stuns enemies in an area for 8 sec.
Tactics

- Ranged players should stay away from Trample's nearby damage.
- Prepare for Summon Shardlings to produce adds every 2 seconds while its area stun lasts 8 seconds.
Tank
Collect loose shardlings as soon as you can act after the stun.

Abilities
- Bomb · Bombs all enemies in a selected area, inflicting Fire damage.
- Shoot · Shoots at an enemy, inflicting Physical damage.
- Goblin Dragon Gun · Deals 1223 fire damage for 8 sec to all targets in a cone in front of the engineer using the weapon. That is unless it explodes.....
- Flash Bomb · Causes all Beasts in a 5 yard radius to run away for 10 sec.
Tactics
- Keep the group out of the frontal cone of Goblin Dragon Gun.
- Spread out to reduce how many players a Bomb can hit.
- In Classic, the dragon gun is channeled and Gizlock stays still during it, giving you a chance to back away.
Tank
Turn Gizlock away from the party before his fire attack begins.
Healer
Be ready to switch healing targets when a bomb hits players away from the tank.
Damage
Watch Beast pets near Gizlock, since Flash Bomb can send them fleeing for 10 seconds.

Rotgrip is a giant crocolisk in the waters below Zaetar's Grave. Fatal Bite drains health and heals him, while Puncture adds a Physical damage bleed.
Abilities
- Puncture · Inflicts Physical damage to an enemy every 2 sec. for 10 sec.
- Fatal Bite · Drains 2537 health from an enemy, healing the caster for up to twice that amount.
Tactics
- Begin with the tank topped up so a bite does not land on an already weakened target.
- Maintain damage through his self-healing rather than treating a rising boss health bar as a reason to stop.
Tank
Save a defensive option for the combination of an active bleed and a heavy bite.
Healer
Follow Fatal Bite with prompt healing, then account for Puncture continuing to tick.

Albino Crocscale Boots · Feet · 35.1%

Princess Theradras is an enormous earth elemental whose fight combines burst melee damage with fear and stuns. Thrash grants her two extra attacks.
Abilities
- Thrash · Gives the caster 2 extra attacks.
- Boulder · Hurls a boulder at an enemy.
- Repulsive Gaze · Roars at an enemy, paralyzing it with terror for 8 sec. and causing all other nearby enemies to flee in fear.
- Dust Field
- Knockdown · Knocks an enemy down, stunning it for 2 sec
Tactics
- Leave room around the fight so feared players have space to move.
- Avoid stacking the entire party near one player, since Repulsive Gaze paralyzes its target and fears nearby allies.
- Keep enough health in reserve to survive Knockdown's 2-second stun.
Tank
Use defensive cooldowns to cover dangerous melee bursts rather than waiting until you are nearly dead.
Healer
Top up the party before Repulsive Gaze can remove players from the fight for up to 8 seconds.
Damage
Give the tank a moment to regain control after fear before committing another burst of damage.

Tank

- Use breaks between encounters to recover mana instead of chaining pulls through the entire clear.
