Abilities

• Bloodlust · Increases an ally's attack speed by 30% for 30 sec.
• Battle Shout · Increases the melee attack power of nearby party members by 4 for 2 min.

Tactics

• Bloodlust increases an ally's attack speed for 30 seconds, so prioritize a buffed enemy that is actively attacking.
• Battle Shout raises nearby allies' melee attack power for 2 minutes. Do not count on that buff expiring during a quick fight.

Tank

Keep threat on the whole pull while DPS change targets.

Healer

Save your own damage casts for moments when the tank's health is stable.

Arcanist Doan guards the archives with crowd control and close-range Arcane attacks. Positioning matters more here than racing his health down.

Abilities

• Silence · Silences nearby enemies, preventing them from casting spells for 10 sec.
• Arcane Explosion · Sends out a blast wave of magic, inflicting 2023 Arcane damage to nearby enemies.
• Detonation
• Arcane Bubble
• Polymorph · Transforms an enemy into a sheep, forcing it to wander around for up to 20 sec. While wandering, the sheep cannot attack or cast spells, but regenerates very quickly. Any damage will transform the target back into its normal form. Only one target can be polymorphed at a time. Only works on beasts, dragons, giants, humanoids, and critters.

Tactics

• In Classic, Doan casts Arcane Bubble at half health and follows it with Detonation, which you can avoid by moving out of line of sight.
• Casters can stay in the corridor to avoid his nearby Silence, which prevents spellcasting for 10 seconds.
• Back away from Arcane Explosion rather than staying beside him through its blast.

Tank

Hold Doan near the doorway while keeping yourself visible to the healer.

Damage

Interrupt Polymorph when you can to prevent the crowd control from landing.

• Horde quest checkCheck your progress on Compendium of the Fallen, Into The Scarlet Monastery, Vorrel's Revenge, Hearts of Zeal and Test of Lore before traveling. Read each objective so you know which monastery tasks you are working on.
• Alliance quest checkCheck Mythology of the Titans, In the Name of the Light, A Brother In Need, By The Light's Grace and Aeonas the Vindicated before setting out. Keep your current quest objectives handy during the run.
• Plan Polymorph removalDoan's Polymorph can remove a player from the fight for up to 20 seconds. Assign a priest or paladin to dispel it, or have a druid shift out when targeted.

• Allow about 25-35 minutes for a full clear.
• Use the wing's three sections to track your progress: Huntsman's Cloister, Gallery of Treasures, then the Athenaeum.
• Leave Forgiveness and The Lonely Path of the Damned for a later visit, since both are level 60 quests.
